Services
Surgical services at the Anissimov practice in Löhne
We treat a broad range of surgical conditions – from removing a mole to laparoscopic abdominal surgery, including hernia repair and proctology. We perform most procedures as outpatient surgery, so you can go home on the same day.
-
Outpatient surgery
Surgery in the morning, home in the afternoon: many procedures no longer require a hospital stay.
- Outpatient surgery means: operation, a short rest in the recovery room and home with a companion on the same day.
- Several hundred outpatient operations per year at the Anissimov practice in Löhne.
- Every procedure is performed personally by specialist surgeon Oleg Anissimov.
-
Minimally invasive surgery & hernias
Tiny incisions, less wound pain: laparoscopic procedures for inguinal hernia, abdominal wall hernia and abdominal complaints.
- Minimally invasive means: surgery through a few very small incisions instead of one large cut.
- Usual benefits: quicker recovery, less wound pain, smaller scars.
- Main areas: inguinal hernia, other abdominal wall hernias, diagnostic laparoscopy, adhesions.
-
Proctology
Haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas: discreet examination and treatment – surgery only when there is no other option.
- Proctology is the medical field dealing with conditions of the rectum and anus.
- Common symptoms: blood on the toilet paper, itching, burning, pain or lumps around the anus.
- Principle of the Anissimov practice: surgery only when conservative treatment is not enough.
-
Hand & skin surgery
Carpal tunnel, ganglion cyst, lipoma, sebaceous cyst or a changing mole: minor procedures, usually under local anaesthesia.
- Hand surgery: carpal tunnel syndrome, ganglion cyst and bursa removal (bursectomy).
- Skin surgery: suspicious moles, skin tumours such as basal cell carcinoma, warts.
- Soft-tissue surgery: lipoma, epidermoid/sebaceous cyst (atheroma), abscess, ingrown toenail.
